EMC Test Engineer | EMV-Prüfingenieur (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves comprehensive planning, execution, and documentation of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) tests for components, sub-systems, and complete systems. The engineer will be responsible for operating measurement equipment and the EMC32 software, defining test concepts based on current standards, and drafting corresponding test instructions and protocols. A key part of the job is optimizing the EMC characteristics of various systems and supporting hardware design teams to ensure EMC compliance. The position also requires the maintenance of the EMC laboratory and its technical facilities, involvement in creating internal and external quotes, and performing qualification and series tests. Ideal candidates possess a technical degree or relevant technician qualification with professional experience, strong knowledge in high-frequency measurement technology, and fluency in both German and English.
