Job Summary

This role involves working as a Materials Testing Engineer within the aerospace industry, focusing on the analysis, evaluation, and validation of aerospace-specific metallic materials. Day-to-day tasks include assessing materials in all states—from forged and cast parts to finished products—and evaluating material conditions following mechanical processing or specialized treatments like welding, thermal, or surface treatments, and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). The engineer will be crucial in establishing and monitoring quality processes related to materials and special processes, providing essential support to internal manufacturing teams and suppliers. Key requirements include a degree (preferably Master's or Diploma) in Materials Engineering, fundamental knowledge of material processing and special processes, and fluent proficiency in both German and English.
