Job Summary
This role is an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to contribute to a globally leading marine electronics provider. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing product and component requirements, developing or selecting electronic components, and conducting detailed design analyses. A key part of the role involves coordinating the development of individual components and taking responsibility for their integration into the larger system. The engineer will also be responsible for independent documentation, analysis of work results, and creating moderate hardware specifications and manufacturing documents. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related science, or has relevant vocational training combined with further technical qualification (Technician/Master Craftsman). Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar engineering science, or vocational training in Electrical Engineering (e.g., Information Electronics Specialist, System Electronics Specialist) supplemented by further training as a Technician or Master Craftsman.
Experience
- Professional experience with systems and pronounced product understanding (for Technicians/Master Craftsmen)
- Experience in the analysis of product and component requirements
- Experience in the coordination of component development
