Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the constant maintenance and traffic safety of railway stations and their surrounding areas within the DB InfraGO AG network. The Senior Station Inspector will work collaboratively in a team to address defects, perform structural repairs on platforms, access routes, and buildings, and conduct minor maintenance on station equipment. Key responsibilities include handling both scheduled and unscheduled on-site assignments, such as winter service replacements, and ensuring the stations maintain an orderly and presentable appearance for customers. The position requires a completed technical trade apprenticeship (e.g., in civil engineering, masonry, or carpentry) and proven professional experience in structural maintenance. Successful candidates must be communicative, well-organized, possess strong craftsmanship skills, and be willing to travel regularly, including occasional overnight stays.

Required Skills

Education

Completed technical trade apprenticeship (e.g., Civil Engineering, Road Construction, Masonry, Carpenter, Floor or Tile Layer) with a minimum regular training duration of two and a half years, or equivalent recognized vocational qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the skilled trades sector
  • Foundational experience and expertise in structural maintenance
