Job Summary

This role involves providing essential on-site IT support and executing hardware and software rollouts for a client based in Oberding. Day-to-day tasks include the delivery, setup, and installation of client machines and peripheral devices, alongside performing necessary software installations, updates, and configurations. The technician will be responsible for the logistical aspects of IT infrastructure, including the packaging, documentation, and transport of hardware components, as well as the ongoing maintenance of IT workstations and end devices. A crucial part of the role is providing direct instruction and support to end-users regarding their IT questions. Successful candidates must possess completed technical vocational training or comparable practical knowledge, strong familiarity with common hardware manufacturers, current Microsoft operating systems, MS Office, and Apple iOS devices (iPhone/iPad). The position is attractive due to the potential for permanent takeover by the client after an initial training period and subsidies for travel costs.
