Job Summary

This role seeks an Electronics Development Engineer to drive the design and qualification of complex electronic and hardware systems for maritime applications within an internationally operating group. Day-to-day tasks involve the independent conception, development, and testing of electronic modules, focusing on analog and digital circuit elements for closed system architectures. The engineer will manage the entire lifecycle, from design and simulation to final testing, documentation (in both German and English), and ensuring integration compatibility while adhering to quality, cost, and schedule requirements. A key requirement is a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, coupled with practical experience in circuit design, high-frequency technology, and signal processing. Proficiency in PCB layout tools, simulation software (like LTspice or Matlab), and standard test equipment is mandatory. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or comparable field; OR Technical vocational training supplemented by qualification as a State Certified Technician.

Experience

  • Experience in the design and implementation of analog and digital circuits
  • Professional experience in electronics and hardware development
  • Experience with high-frequency technology, signal processing, or communication technology (ideal)
  • Experience in managing development processes from prototype to series status
