Job Summary

This role supports the IT infrastructure of a telecommunications customer operating within the public sector environment in Cologne. The Junior Administrator will primarily focus on the daily operation and support of Windows Server and Client systems, including tasks such as system commissioning, testing, and crucial patching activities. Key responsibilities involve performing minor troubleshooting and error correction, processing change requests, and assisting with the development of customer-specific solutions. A successful candidate will have completed relevant technical training or possess equivalent professional experience, coupled with initial hands-on experience in Windows Server OS, basic network services (DHCP/DNS), and client management tools like OMNISSA WorkspaceONE and SCCM for software deployment. This position requires a systematic, customer-oriented approach, strong technical understanding, and excellent communication skills in both German and English, offering a great entry point into public sector IT administration.
