Job Summary
This role is a strategic opportunity for an ERP professional to drive efficiency, scalability, and competitive advantage by transforming the ERP system into the central steering platform for Hydrotechnik GmbH. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability and performance of the ERP system while actively developing ERP-supported business processes across all departments (Purchasing, Sales, Production, Logistics, Finance). Day-to-day tasks include system administration, 2nd-level support, process analysis, digitalization, and managing updates, releases, and integration projects. This position requires a strong blend of IT, process, and business acumen, focusing on eliminating inefficiencies and fostering a process-driven ERP culture through documentation and user training. It is ideal for a proactive individual who views ERP not just as an administrative tool, but as a lever for organizational excellence and growth.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or university degree in IT, commercial, or technical fields (e.g., IT Specialist, Business Informatics, IT Merchant, Industrial Clerk with IT focus)
Experience
- Several years of experience in the support, administration, or intensive use of an ERP system
- Very good understanding of commercial business processes (Purchasing, Sales, Production, Warehouse, Finance)
- Experience with proALPHA ERP (Nice-to-have)
- Knowledge in modules like Materials Management, Production Planning and Control (PPS), Financial Accounting, or Controlling (Nice-to-have)
- Experience with interfaces (e.g., SQL, APIs, EDI) (Nice-to-have)
- Basic knowledge of databases (e.g., MS SQL) (Nice-to-have)
- Experience with ticket or requirements management systems (Nice-to-have)
