Job Summary

This role involves providing essential technical and logistical support for the properties and operational technology at the RPTU Landau campus, working within the Department 5 team, which manages building maintenance and facility operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing general caretaker duties such as interior and exterior maintenance, managing waste disposal, assisting with internal moves, and executing minor repair and maintenance tasks across the facilities. A significant part of the role also involves departmental fleet management, including scheduling vehicle inspections, repairs, and ensuring overall vehicle care, alongside providing messenger and driving services. Candidates must possess completed vocational training in a relevant technical or skilled trade, demonstrating a customer-friendly approach, strong teamwork skills, and a conscientious, independent work ethic to ensure the smooth operation of the university's infrastructure.
