Job Summary

This role is for an engaged and qualified Service Technician specializing in innovative building technologies, particularly focusing on the maintenance and repair of solar power systems in the Mettmann area. Day-to-day responsibilities include the upkeep, repair, and commissioning of photovoltaic systems, performing complex fault analysis using STC characteristic curve measuring devices, and configuring inverters to meet system stability regulations (50.2 Hz). The technician will also conduct various measurements, such as thermography, and monitor system yields via a dedicated portal. A crucial aspect of this position is customer interaction, involving the installation, commissioning, and comprehensive training of clients on product usage. Candidates should hold a professional electrical qualification, demonstrate strong technical understanding, and possess a confident, friendly approach when interacting with customers.
