Job Summary

The Municipality of Moormerland is seeking a part-time, fixed-term Civil Engineer to join the Building Authority, focusing on infrastructure projects. This role involves the comprehensive planning, conceptualization, and execution of new construction and renovations for roads, paths, green spaces, and the development of barrier-free bus stops. A significant part of the job includes managing financial aspects, such as identifying and applying for grants, preparing necessary funding applications, and managing verification of use upon project completion. Day-to-day responsibilities also cover preparing and participating in procurement processes, including the technical evaluation of tender documents (VOB), and coordinating external planning offices, experts, and contractors. Candidates must possess a technical engineering degree (minimum Bachelor/Diplom FH), preferably in Civil Engineering with an infrastructure focus, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in standard IT applications. This is a two-year, part-time contract (19.5 hours/week) offering public sector benefits.
