Job Summary

This role involves working as a Specialist in Organic Chemistry within the Manufacturing Science and Technology department for ROCHE, a leading international pharmaceutical company. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, troubleshooting, and optimization of chemical production processes, including the transfer of new products and processes from Research & Development (R&D). Key daily tasks include establishing new synthesis and purification methods, adapting and testing production processes, and providing expert technical input for regulatory documentation. Candidates must hold a degree in Organic Chemistry or a comparable field and possess good written and spoken German and English skills.
