Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Project Manager focused on climate protection initiatives, working to significantly reduce global greenhouse gas emissions in line with the Paris climate goals. Day-to-day, the manager will be responsible for the conception, planning, and technical execution of projects, including driving construction activities, setting goals, and managing external service providers. Key focus areas include expanding renewable energy in the Global South (e.g., rural electrification) and developing Direct Air Capture (DAC) pilot plants. The role also involves key account management for large corporate clients, participating in tenders, and negotiating contracts with international partners. Candidates must possess a strong academic background in engineering or natural sciences, at least two years of relevant technical professional experience, and fluent proficiency in both German and English. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to actively contribute to climate protection within a non-profit organization based in Berlin, initially on a two-year fixed-term contract with the intention of permanent extension.
