Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Microbiology Laboratory Technician specializing in Mycology, joining an accredited environmental laboratory in Münster. The core daily tasks involve conducting precise microbiological examinations of indoor air and material samples to identify contamination by mold and bacteria. You will be responsible for the entire process, including sample preparation, evaluation, and professional documentation of results, as well as the preparation, testing, and quality control of culture media. A key aspect of the role is participating in proficiency testing and contributing to the continuous improvement and development of existing microbiological and mycological testing procedures. To succeed, you must possess completed vocational training as a Dairy Laboratory Technician, Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), or a comparable microbiological qualification. Practical experience in environmental sample analysis and knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 quality assurance are highly beneficial. Required Skills

Education

Completed training as a Dairy Laboratory Technician, Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), or a comparable qualification in the microbiological field.

Experience
