Job Summary

The Caritas associations of Chemnitz, Vogtland, and Zwickau are seeking a dedicated IT System Administrator to join their team in a newly created, part-time position (20 hours/week) based in Zwickau, as part of a structural merger process. This role is crucial for maintaining and evolving the organization's IT infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include the administration of IT systems and networks, installation and configuration of servers and workstations, and providing First- and Second-Level Support to approximately 350 employees. Key qualifications include a background in IT System Integration or equivalent, strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments, experience with network technologies, and familiarity with IT security standards, specifically BSI Basic Protection.
