Job Summary

This role is centered on shaping the future of digital healthcare by developing and planning the product and service portfolio for customized insurance products. As a Feature Owner, you will conceptualize individual applications and features that enhance user access to BARMER's digital world, thereby improving the overall user experience. Key responsibilities include end-to-end ownership of new feature development, from initial idea generation through to Go-Live, defining success metrics, and monitoring target achievement. You will work within a multidisciplinary agile team alongside strategic designers, developers, and software architects, driving the customer-oriented development of the sectoral Identity Provider (IDP). The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Business Informatics, Health Sciences, or Design, combined with expertise in agile product development, project management (Scrum, Design Thinking), and tools like Jira and Confluence. This position requires strong strategic thinking and excellent communication skills to manage stakeholders and act as the primary interface between digital projects and BARMER IT.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Business Informatics, Health Sciences, Design, or a similar field (ideally with a focus on Digital Health) or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Experience in the conception and implementation of IT projects
