Job Summary

This role involves specialized surveying and measurement activities crucial for track construction, renewal, and maintenance projects across Germany and potentially neighboring countries. The Surveyor will be responsible for conducting track surveying, staking, and clearance profile measurements, working closely with tamping machine operators and clients. A key aspect of the job is operating and maintaining the latest, innovative surveying technology from Trimble, Amberg, and Leica product families, along with associated software. The ideal candidate must have a background in track construction, surveying, or operating tamping machines, possess knowledge of specific measurement systems like GEDO CE and Amberg IMS (a plus), and be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, due to the nature of railway operations. This position offers a permanent contract and the opportunity to work with high-performance machinery such as tamping and leveling machines and high-speed renewal trains.
