Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Electrical Design Engineer specializing in Control and Automation Technology for a globally active company in the nuclear sector. The core responsibilities involve end-to-end electrical concept development, creating detailed schematics, manufacturing documentation (including 3D assembly drawings), and component definition using EPLAN Electric P8 and ProPanel. You will ensure designs comply with relevant normative standards (e.g., DIN EN 60204-1) and produce comprehensive project documentation, including FMEA and functional safety verification. You will also contribute to cost calculation and scheduling for proposals. The position requires supporting manufacturing, control programming, and commissioning activities both in-house and occasionally at customer sites, including nuclear facilities. Candidates must possess an electrical engineering background (Technician level) and extensive professional experience in electrical design, along with strong skills in drive and regulation technology. This position offers the opportunity to work on highly specialized, customized control systems with approximately 20% travel required for commissioning support domestically and internationally.
