Job Summary

This critical role involves leading and executing planning activities within the Road and Civil Engineering sector, focusing on the construction, modification, and expansion of infrastructure such as roads, paths, external facilities, air traffic areas, canals, and landfills. A significant aspect of the work is contributing to the energy transition by helping realize major energy infrastructure projects in Germany. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing planning according to strict adherence to deadlines, costs, and quality standards, coordinating technical interfaces with all project partners, and ensuring full compliance with contracts, relevant laws, norms, and guidelines. The Planning Engineer acts as the primary contact for all planning matters for both external consulting firms and internal colleagues during the bidding and execution phases. Candidates must possess a degree in Civil Engineering or a comparable qualification, demonstrate a high technical understanding of standard construction methods, and be interested in utilizing innovative, digital planning methods. The position requires independent and goal-oriented work, cooperative team behavior, and willingness to travel to construction sites and meetings.
