Job Summary
This critical role involves supporting the technical and organizational leadership of a laboratory specializing in wine and beverages. The Deputy Laboratory Manager will routinely conduct instrumental analysis using techniques such as HPLC, IC, and FT-IR, alongside performing microbiological investigations. Key responsibilities include selecting, implementing, and optimizing analytical methods, as well as analyzing and evaluating test results. The position also requires performing maintenance and qualification tasks for technical laboratory equipment. Candidates must possess a degree in Food Chemistry, Food Technology, or a comparable field, coupled with practical laboratory experience and expertise in common analytical methods within the wine and beverage sector. This position is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with strong German language skills (C1) who is ready to take on leadership responsibilities within a challenging and varied work environment.
