Job Summary

This critical leadership role seeks an experienced professional to manage and organize a high-volume central laboratory, which processes nearly 1 million analyses annually, supporting diverse clinical areas including blood banking, molecular diagnostics, and clinical chemistry. The manager will lead a team of 12 staff and 2 trainees, ensuring seamless daily operations and strict compliance with all quality, hygiene, and safety standards, including Rili-BÄK and DIN EN ISO 15189. Responsibilities include personnel development, budget planning, and continuous process optimization, specifically focusing on the introduction and advancement of automated analytical procedures and digital solutions. The ideal candidate must hold a completed Medical Technical Laboratory Assistant (MTLA) qualification, possess significant clinical laboratory experience, and demonstrate expertise in areas such as PCR diagnostics or immunohematology, coupled with proficiency in Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and Quality Management.
