Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious Junior Specialist in Accounting and Digitalization, based at the central office in Tübingen, for Kemmler Baustoffe GmbH, a leading building materials company. The specialist will be crucial in driving the company's continuous improvement through transformation and digitalization projects. Day-to-day responsibilities involve supporting the optimization of accounting processes and internal workflows, assisting with monthly and annual closing activities, and managing core transactional tasks such as checking, coding, booking, and processing incoming invoices and travel expense reports. Furthermore, the role requires reconciling creditor accounts, managing reminders and discrepancies, and maintaining master data within the ERP system. Ideal candidates are career starters with a degree in economics (preferably finance/accounting) or those with a commercial apprenticeship and initial relevant experience, coupled with a strong IT affinity and analytical process understanding.
