Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Service Technician specializing in Grid Automation, based in Waltershausen, focusing on the critical infrastructure of the rail sector. The successful candidate, ideally an Electrical Engineer with secondary technology experience, will be responsible for the technical parameterization and configuration of SICAM systems used in energy grid automation. Day-to-day tasks involve managing customer acceptance tests, commissioning systems on-site, providing essential support during system disruptions, and conducting thorough fault analyses. You will also be crucial in project planning, ensuring technical implementation aligns with customer requirements, and collaborating closely with project management. This position requires strong analytical skills, flexibility, and a willingness to travel across Germany to maintain the safe and reliable operation of critical infrastructure, supported by a permanent contract and flexible working arrangements.
