Job Summary

This role is for an engaged (Senior) Cloud Engineer to join an established, family-run company in the Hamburg area, focusing on modern, agile IT practices within their in-house team. The primary responsibilities include building, managing, and advancing the company's cloud environment, specifically utilizing Microsoft Azure and other Public Cloud providers. Day-to-day tasks involve optimizing network infrastructure in the cloud, developing and implementing migration strategies from traditional on-premise solutions, and administering the global server infrastructure. The position requires strong expertise as a Systems Engineer with an MS Cloud focus, deep knowledge of SDWAN, Firewalls, and Virtualization, and proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools like Ansible or Terraform. The ideal candidate will possess excellent German and English skills and collaborate closely with international IT teams across America and Asia, contributing ideas for continuous improvement and standardization of operating processes.
