Job Summary
This role involves joining the IT Service Department at Klinikum Memmingen, a public hospital, to manage and expand critical clinical IT infrastructure. The administrator will primarily focus on the administration and development of the Orbis Hospital Information System (KIS), the Radiology Information System (RIS), and the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). A key aspect of the job is managing teleradiological systems, configuring interface extensions, and supporting connected subsystems. This position is vital due to the ongoing digitalization of medical services and involvement in planning the IT infrastructure for a new clinic building. Ideal candidates possess a degree in Medical Informatics or equivalent, foundational knowledge of server operating systems, database administration skills (especially Oracle), and expertise in healthcare specific standards like DICOM, HL7, and Telematics Infrastructure (ePA, KIM). Fluency in German (C1 level) is mandatory, along with strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
