Job Summary
This role involves comprehensive IT system administration and support, focusing on maintaining and managing software products, specialized IT procedures, and associated hardware within a municipal environment. The administrator will be responsible for the full lifecycle of IT applications, including procurement collaboration, installation (server and client-side), testing, data migration, and ongoing maintenance (updates/upgrades). Key duties also include managing application-related databases and peripherals, ensuring system integration, and meticulously creating and maintaining documentation (security, data backup, and operational procedures). The position requires strong organizational skills, technical expertise, and the ability to conduct IT projects, collaborate in project teams, and support the implementation of the Online Access Act (Onlinezugangsgesetz).
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist, IT System Management Clerk, IT System Electronics Technician, or a university degree in the IT field, or equivalent qualification.
Experience
- Relevant professional experience in the described field of activity
- Thorough and comprehensive technical knowledge, including in municipal IT procedures
- Experience working independently and interdisciplinary within a team
