Job Summary
This critical management role involves taking overall responsibility for the operational control, organization, and strategic development of the Operating Room (OR) areas across the Dresden cluster, specifically at the Freital and Pirna locations. The OR Manager will ensure highly efficient surgical processes, focusing on capacity planning, workflow optimization, utilization management, and performance reporting to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include coordinating OR management with nursing, medical, and anesthesia leadership, implementing quality and hygiene standards, and supporting personnel planning. Candidates must possess a background as a Registered Nurse with specialized OR training or as an Anesthesiologist, ideally with existing qualifications in OR coordination or management, and demonstrate strong leadership, teamwork, and commitment to excellent patient care.

Completed vocational training as a Health and Sick Care Nurse with specialized training in OR, or training as an Anesthesiologist
Experience
- Professional experience in operational steering and organization of OR areas
- Experience in coordinating interdisciplinary teams within a clinical setting
- Ideally, existing qualification in OR Coordination or OR Management
