Job Summary

This role involves connecting people and technology to drive the pharmaceutical and life science industry forward by managing complex production planning projects. The Production Planner will be responsible for scheduling the manufacturing of pharmaceutical semi-finished and finished goods, balancing market demand with available capacities. A core part of the job is the continuous, independent monitoring and adjustment of the production schedule and material supply to ensure uninterrupted patient care. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating the value chain from order acceptance to dispatch, managing global and local planning meetings, collaborating closely with departments like Global Supply Planning, Manufacturing, QA, and QC, and participating in GxP deviation and change processes. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Engineering, or Computer Science, or has a relevant vocational background (e.g., Pharmacy, Technology, Logistics) combined with at least five years of industry experience, including a minimum of two years in pharmaceutical production or planning.
