IT Specialist / Application Manager | Informatiker (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves taking holistic responsibility for the entire lifecycle of managed applications and services, focusing on continuously improving service quality, stability, and user satisfaction within the renowned TÜV SÜD organization. The IT Specialist will manage and optimize external service providers, ensuring smooth operations, and collaborate closely with business departments to assess, prioritize, and implement technical and functional requirements. Key responsibilities include planning and controlling releases, changes, testing, and license management, as well as actively participating in the deployment of new versions. A significant aspect of the job is ensuring security and compliance standards, coordinating penetration tests and audits, and supporting the identification and development of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) processes. This position requires a degree in Computer Science or a related field, initial experience in application management (ideally with ITIL certification), and excellent communication skills in both German and English.
