Job Summary

This role is a fixed-term research position, ideal for a doctoral candidate, focusing on the immunological effects and safety of adjuvants in novel vaccine concepts, specifically RNA vaccines formulated with Lipid Nanoparticles (LNP). The successful candidate will be responsible for manufacturing and in-vitro characterization of experimental vaccine candidates, investigating tissue distribution in laboratory animals (primarily guinea pigs), and analyzing both innate and adaptive immune responses. Key activities include isolating leukocytes, performing detailed ex vivo analysis of adaptive immunity to target antigens and bioprocess impurities, and conducting pathological, histological, and molecular biological analysis of tissue samples. The position requires a degree in Veterinary Medicine, Biology, or Biochemistry, strong molecular and cell biology skills, and the ability to work independently within a high-security research environment dealing with infectious agents like SARS-CoV-2 or influenza viruses.
