Job Summary
This role involves supporting the IT team in developing sustainable and creative software solutions, focusing heavily on Oracle database environments using PL/SQL. The developer will be responsible for the entire software lifecycle, including gathering requirements directly from internal clients, designing, creating, testing, and maintaining existing and future database processes. A key part of the job includes analyzing existing PL/SQL programs for vulnerabilities, documenting solutions clearly, and supporting critical migration processes and future database modeling. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, experience with relational database application development, proficiency in software engineering best practices, and familiarity with tools like Git, Jira, and Confluence.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable completed vocational training in Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience and skills.
Experience
- Several years of experience in application development within a relational database environment
- Focus on Oracle databases using Oracle PL/SQL
- Extensive experience in software engineering
- Experience in handling version control systems
- Experience using Jira and Confluence for project coordination
- Consulting experience with business units
