The Materials Inspector will be responsible for conducting crucial quality assurance tasks on combustion components, including visual inspections (VT), surface crack testing (PT), and precise dimensional controls. A key part of the daily routine involves meticulous documentation of test results using standardized digital protocols and creating detailed photographic records of the examined parts. You will collaborate closely with technical supervisors in manufacturing to ensure stringent quality requirements are met throughout the repair process and during the final inspection before component delivery. To qualify, candidates must possess valid VT1, VT2, PT1, and PT2 certifications, coupled with a completed vocational background in metalworking and relevant professional experience in mechanical engineering or a craft environment. This position offers top wages, IG Metall-oriented compensation, and a high chance of permanent takeover, though it requires flexibility for rotating shift work.
