Job Summary

This role involves working as a System Technician specializing in telecommunications technology, focusing on audio and video systems critical for safety applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include selecting, evaluating, and qualifying new hardware and software technologies, such as speech devices, and conducting precise audio/video quality measurements in the lab. The technician will support product teams, projects, and international customers in resolving complex audio and video issues across various business sectors. Key qualifications include a technical degree or equivalent in Audio/Video or Telecommunications, practical experience with IP-based audio/video transmission protocols (SIP, RTP), and proficiency with specialized testing and measuring equipment. The ideal candidate possesses an analytical, structured approach, high quality consciousness, and excellent communication skills in both German and English to collaborate effectively with international colleagues and partners. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring occasional travel (2-3 times per year) to partners and customers.
