This role is for a dedicated Physicist specializing in Gravimetry, Quantum Gravimetry, and Optical Clock technology within a federal office in Vienna. The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of highly scientific measurement facilities and procedures. Key daily activities include conducting complex measurements and calibrations, both in the lab and in the field, technically supporting absolute and relative gravimeters, and evaluating measurement results to create calibration certificates and test reports. The position requires a university degree in technical or natural sciences, very strong physical and technical knowledge, expertise in quantum physics and geophysics, and proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Labview, and Python.
