Job Summary

This role involves serving as a central IT contact for the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences (BOKU) in Vienna, focusing on the design, development, and operation of customized IT solutions. The specialist will primarily manage the Digital Workplace Service based on Microsoft 365, including strategic planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of automated M365 services. Key responsibilities include building and documenting service-oriented processes (Incident, Request, Problem, Change, and Knowledge Management), ensuring compliance and security standards (Conditional Access, MFA, Governance), and collaborating closely with internal IT teams and external partners. The ideal candidate requires a completed IT education or equivalent professional experience, deep expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, and strong skills in automation using PowerShell and Graph API, coupled with excellent communication and analytical abilities.
