Job Summary

This role involves maintaining, repairing, and optimizing electrical and automated systems essential for the smooth operation of modern wastewater and water treatment plants in the Meißen region. The Instrumentation and Control Technician will be responsible for hands-on tasks including the maintenance of MSR (Measurement, Control, and Regulation) systems, troubleshooting electrical faults using circuit diagrams, and replacing components within control cabinets. Key responsibilities also include monitoring and operating pump and motor controls (VFDs, soft starters), testing safety circuits, and performing calibration and documentation of measurement parameters. Candidates must have a completed apprenticeship as an Electrician or MSR Technician, practical experience with PLC systems (specifically Siemens S7), and proficiency in working according to DIN VDE standards, ensuring the continuous operational readiness of critical infrastructure.

Experience

  • Professional experience in MSR technology, pump and motor control systems, and PLC systems

  • Good practical skills
