Job Summary

This role is ideal for an experienced PLC Programmer ready to take on diverse projects in specialized machine and plant engineering across multiple locations in North Rhine-Westphalia. Day-to-day responsibilities include the design and implementation of PLC programming for both new automated systems and the modernization (retrofit) of existing plants. A key component of the job involves planning and executing corresponding visualizations, followed by the crucial task of worldwide commissioning of the systems. The successful candidate will also be responsible for troubleshooting and defect resolution in current installations. Key qualifications include a degree or technician certification in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology, combined with at least three years of professional experience in plant automation, strong proficiency in TIA-Portal, SIMATIC S7, and WinCC, and fluency in German (C1) and good English (B2) skills.
