Job Summary

Join a dynamic consulting unit focused on shaping the digital transformation of the German Public Sector. This role involves actively participating in and leading IT consulting projects aimed at modernizing administrative services, particularly concerning the Online Access Act (OZG) and the Once Only Principle (Register Modernization). Day-to-day tasks include advising federal, state, and municipal authorities on strategy, organization, and process design, developing innovative solution concepts, and documenting customer requirements. The ideal candidate possesses initial consulting experience, ideally within public administration, strong interest in public sector digitalization, and knowledge of process modeling (FIM standard is a plus). This is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in a socially relevant field, working flexibly from Cologne or remotely across Germany, contributing directly to the modernization of public services.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Political Science, Administrative Science, Administrative Informatics, Law, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification demonstrating suitability for the field.

Experience

  • Initial experience as a consultant, ideally in public administration
  • Initial process modeling experience
  • Knowledge of the Online Access Act (OZG) is desirable
  • Initial experience with EfA (One-for-All) projects is desirable
  • Initial experience in stakeholder management
