Job Summary

This role involves actively shaping the future digitalization of the German Public Sector, focusing on modernizing administrative services in line with the Online Access Act (OZG) and implementing the Once Only Principle through registry modernization. The Consultant will join the Consulting Unit, managing and contributing to IT consulting projects, guiding federal, state, and municipal clients through digitalization initiatives, and developing innovative solution concepts and strategies. Key responsibilities include requirements analysis, process modeling (potentially using the FIM standard), and stakeholder management. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with initial consulting experience, a background in political, administrative, or computer science, and a strong interest in public sector digitalization and political topics, offering continuous professional development and flexible work arrangements.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Political Science, Administrative Science, Administrative Informatics, Law, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification demonstrating suitability for the field.

Experience

  • Initial experience as a consultant, ideally within public administration
  • Initial process modeling experience
  • Knowledge of the Online Access Act (OZG) is desirable
  • Initial experience with EfA (One-for-All) projects is desirable
  • Initial experience in stakeholder management
