Job Summary

This role involves actively shaping the digitalization of the Public Sector in Germany, focusing on modernizing administrative services. The Consultant will be part of the Consulting Unit, responsible for designing and managing IT consulting projects for federal, state, and municipal authorities. Key daily activities include guiding clients through digitalization projects, developing strategies, optimizing organizational structures and processes, and collaborating with project teams to define customer requirements and innovative solution concepts. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Political Science, Administrative Science, Law, or related fields, possesses initial consulting experience (ideally within administration), and has knowledge of process modeling (preferably FIM standard) and the Online Access Act (OZG). This is a unique opportunity to apply expertise in implementing 'One-for-All' (EfA) services and 'Once Only' principles through register modernization, contributing significantly to societal relevance and administrative efficiency. Note: This specific position is a fixed-term contract for two years.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Political Science, Administrative Science, Administrative Informatics, Law, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Initial experience as a consultant
  • Experience in administration (ideally)
  • Initial experience with EfA projects (desirable)
  • Initial experience in stakeholder management
