Job Summary

This role is designed for a Consultant passionate about shaping the future of public administration through digitalization, focusing specifically on the German Public Sector. Day-to-day, the consultant will be integral to the Consulting Unit, managing and contributing to challenging IT consulting projects. Key responsibilities include guiding public sector clients (federal, state, and municipal levels) in implementing digitalization projects, developing strategies, optimizing organizational structures, and refining processes. A core focus will be on implementing the Online Access Act (OZG) services, potentially utilizing the 'One-for-All' principle, and supporting the 'Once Only' principle through register modernization. The ideal candidate holds a degree in relevant fields (e.g., Political Science, Public Administration, IT) and possesses initial consulting experience, particularly within administration. This is an attractive opportunity to apply expertise in process modeling (ideally FIM standard) and data protection, contributing directly to socially relevant digital solutions from Leipzig, with significant remote work flexibility.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Political Science, Administrative Science, Administrative Informatics, Law, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification demonstrating suitability for the field.

Experience

  • Initial experience as a consultant
  • Ideally, initial experience in administration
  • Initial experience with Online Access Act (OZG) and EfA projects is desirable
  • Initial experience in Stakeholder Management
