This role involves actively shaping the digitalization of the German public sector, focusing on implementing sophisticated Online Access Act (OZG) administrative services and modernizing registries to support the Once Only principle. The Consultant will join the Consulting Unit, responsible for designing and executing IT consulting projects, guiding federal, state, and municipal public sector clients through digitalization initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include supporting the development of strategies, organizational structures, and processes for public authorities, collaborating with project teams to define customer requirements, and creating innovative solution concepts. The ideal candidate has prior consulting experience, ideally within public administration, strong interest in public sector digitalization, and skills in process modeling and stakeholder management. This is a crucial role for professionals eager to apply their expertise to projects with significant societal relevance, based in Munich with home office options.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Political Science, Administrative Science, Administrative Informatics, Law, Business Informatics, or comparable qualification demonstrating suitability for the field.

Experience

  • Initial experience as a consultant, ideally in public administration
  • Initial process modeling experience
  • Initial experience with EfA (One-for-All) projects (desirable)
  • Initial experience in stakeholder management
