Job Summary

This role offers a unique opportunity to join TÜV Thüringen's Industrial Service as an Electrical Engineering Expert and Assessor, focusing on safety, efficiency, and quality of technical systems. Initially, you will undergo comprehensive training to become a certified expert, shadowing experienced assessors and learning applicable national and international standards (e.g., BetrSichV, VDS, DGUV). Once certified, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve independently inspecting and assessing electrical equipment and systems across all life phases, especially those in potentially explosive environments. You will be responsible for creating detailed assessment reports on the condition of electrical and safety-related systems. This position is ideal for engineers with a background in electrical or automation technology who seek a challenging and responsible role contributing significantly to public and environmental safety, supported by a structured onboarding process and a secure, future-proof workplace.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Energy Technology, or a comparable field of study

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical engineering (e.g., planning, project management, construction management/building installation) is advantageous
  • Familiarity with technical regulations (e.g., DIN, VDE, VdS) is beneficial
