Job Summary

GÖTTING KG, a global leader in developing data radio systems and sensors for Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and autonomous commercial vehicles, is seeking an IT System Administrator to join their team in Lehrte, near Hannover. This full-time, permanent role involves the comprehensive administration of the company's IT infrastructure. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing Windows Server and client operating systems, maintaining the Microsoft 365 environment, and handling firewall, network, and storage administration. The role also encompasses setting up employee workstations (hardware/software installation, minor repairs) and providing technical support. Key requirements include a completed IT qualification (such as an IT Specialist in System Integration or a degree in Computer Science) and proven experience in Windows environment administration and network management. Experience with firewall configuration, ideally Sophos, is required, and knowledge of virtualization tools like VMware, Proxmox, and Veeam is beneficial.
