Job Summary

The AWO Kreisverband Frankfurt am Main e. V., a major social service provider in Frankfurt, is seeking an experienced IT System Administrator to join their central IT department immediately. This full-time, permanent role involves providing 1st and 2nd level support, managing the organization's extensive IT infrastructure across the central office and approximately 54 external facilities (nursing homes and youth centers). Key responsibilities include operating, maintaining, and developing the existing hardware and software, managing the Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services infrastructure, and troubleshooting issues both remotely and on-site. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Computer Science or equivalent vocational training, excellent experience with Microsoft operating systems (Windows Server 2012-2022, Windows 10/11), M365, and strong knowledge of networking, storage, and virtualization technologies like VMware.
