Job Summary

This role seeks a skilled Measurement Technician to join a dynamic team in Witten, focusing on precision measurement and quality assurance for series production. Key responsibilities include evaluating 3D measurements, conducting initial part approvals (First Article Inspections - FAIs) for serial manufacturing, and performing 3D measurements of wheelset components using advanced equipment like the Zeiss 3D measuring machine. The ideal candidate possesses a background as a Machining Mechanic, ideally augmented by a Technician qualification, and must be capable of measuring with micrometer precision. Proficiency with fine measuring instruments, experience with Calypso software, and basic knowledge of SAP for accessing inventory and production data are essential.
