Job Summary

This role involves becoming a key part of the production process by ensuring the quality and precision of manufactured components in Herne. Day-to-day responsibilities include operating the Zeiss 3D measuring machine, evaluating complex 3D measurement data, and performing initial part releases for series production. A critical function is preparing and executing First Article Inspections (FAIs) for wheelset components. The ideal candidate holds a background as a Machining Mechanic, preferably with a Technician qualification, and possesses the ability to measure accurately in the micrometer range. Proficiency in Calypso software, fine measuring tools, and basic SAP knowledge is essential. This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive compensation (€19.50/hour plus allowances), shift work, and the potential for direct takeover by the client.
