Job Summary

This position seeks an Electrical Systems Technician to join cross-functional teams specializing in the outfitting of complex marine vessels, primarily submarines, for a leading European marine systems provider. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing internal wiring according to specifications, assembling connectors, and mounting various electrical components such as cable trays, switch cabinets, and terminal blocks. A crucial aspect of the role is performing quality checks and testing of installed cables and components, as well as installing complete cable and electronic systems directly on board the vessels. The ideal candidate must hold vocational training as an Electrician for Machine and Drive Technology and bring initial professional experience, preferably in submarine or similar section outfitting. Success requires a high degree of self-reliance, adherence to VDE standards, and a strong commitment to safety protocols within a challenging, innovative shipbuilding environment.
