Job Summary

This role seeks a highly experienced NDT Materials Inspector specializing in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods, with a primary focus on international project execution and advanced X-ray technology. Day-to-day responsibilities include the non-destructive testing of components using modern methods such as Visual Testing (VT), Radiographic Testing (RT/RT-D), Leak Testing (LT), and Penetrant Testing (PT). A core function involves utilizing Computed Radiography (CR) with storage foils and performing detailed material investigations, including preparing polished samples. The inspector is responsible for the complete evaluation and documentation of test results and will manage and supervise international assembly and construction sites across Europe and globally. The ideal candidate must possess a completed qualification as a Metal Specialist or equivalent, substantial NDT experience, and ideally hold valid NDT certificates (Level 1 or 2) according to DIN EN ISO 9712. This position is attractive due to its international scope, offering extensive worldwide travel and a permanent contract.

Required Skills

Education

Completed apprenticeship as a Metal Specialist or comparable qualification. Ideally, valid NDT certificates (Level 1 or 2 according to DIN EN ISO 9712) in VT, RT/RT-D, LT, and PT.

Experience

  • Professional experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT/ZfP)
  • Experience in international assembly activities and construction site supervision (inner- and extra-European)
  • Experience working in a 2-shift operation
  • Experience with SNT-TC-1A (ASME) standards (beneficial)
