Job Summary

This role is for an ambitious System Operation Engineer specializing in Redispatch, crucial for maintaining a secure and stable power supply within a major regional distribution network in Eastern Germany. The successful candidate will monitor the electricity grid using modern Redispatch software, continuously analyze the network status, and implement optimization measures to ensure grid stability. Key daily tasks involve active communication and coordination with renewable energy plant operators and other network operators, contributing to the development of network control software, and supporting the implementation of new digital tools for grid monitoring. This position requires readiness for 3-shift operation (early, late, and night shifts) and regular on-call duty, supported by a mandatory 12-month on-the-job training phase in the control center. Candidates must possess a degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Energy Technology, coupled with professional experience in network operation or energy supply, and fluent German language skills (C1 minimum).
